Serving York, PA and the surrounding communities since 2003, Easter Seals Interpreting Services (ESIS) provides sign language interpreting services to the community and offers American Sign Language (ASL) classes to the community, businesses and organizations. ESIS interpreters can be found in a variety of settings such as hospitals, educational institutions, early intervention programs and business meetings, just to name a few. ESIS NewsName Change Easter Seals Deaf Services has recently gone through a name change. Our new name is Easter Seals Interpreting Services (ESIS). With that comes a new email address as well: esis@eastersealscentralpa.org National ConferenceESIS interpreters were recently in Washington, DC to provide interpreting services to the Easter Seals National Volunteer Conference. While there, our own staff interpreter Christine Adzema interpreted for former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Thanks to all contractor and staff interpreters for their hard work and dedication during this conference. American Sign Language ClassesEaster Seals Interpreting Services recently completed the fall classes that were offered for 6 weeks between September and November. Two classes were offered in York and Mechanicsburg. Classes will begin again in March 2010. ESIS can also provide classes at your office or location.
